Tune your radio to the cheekiest show on the earth - every Saturday morning with 'Cheeky Daz' on Birmingham's 89.1 Big City Radio, and worldwide! It's cheeky 'Fun in Brum' with great music too.

Darren uses this natural warmth, cheeky wit and genuine love of people to attract listeners - literally from across the planet - to his Saturday show on 89.1 Big City Radio, between 10am and 2pm.

They never quite know what they're going to get, but it’s guaranteed to be fun and entertaining at the very least.

Click here for Darrens Best Bits from his Saturday Radio Show on Big City Radio - BirminghamEach show has a great balance of interviews - anyone from international celebrities through to eccentric locals.

It doesn’t matter to Darren if you're the studio cleaner, someone calling the show, or a celebrity guest - the treatment is the same.

Darren has interviewed and worked with a host of celebrities such as Ken Dodd OBE, Brian Conley, Myleene Klass, Christine Hamilton, Derek Acorah and international singing sensation Hayley Westenra.

It takes a very special person to entertain, keep up the energy levels, and make people feel relaxed, but Cheeky Daz is one of them.

The cheeky presenter has personally met Prince Charles, was praised for his work by the Prime Minister, and has had breakfast with Boyzone!  Darren has also had a hit charity single featuring comedian Joe Pasquale. It was a hit in Japan!

Before joining the wonderful team at Big City Radio, Darren presented slots on many other stations. He has also presented on BBC Television alongside Alan Titchmarsh, in which viewers saw Darren dressed as a Pirate.

Last year, Darren’s series of cheeky podcasts beat Sky News Showbiz in a leading poll for the number one podcast for entertainment – a national achievement.

In 2010, he has been really, really busy - interviewing the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary on his show, lending his voice to a new fitness DVD, and an interactive kid’s website and several promo tional adverts.

Away from radio, Darren spends time with his seven-year-old daughter (Emily). Earlier this year, he became a Zoo Keeper for the day at Dudley Zoo.

Darren has been close friends with broadcasting legend Les Ross MBE for more than 15 years, and Les was also Darren’s ‘Best Man’ when he got married (although now divorced). The cheeky duo co-host charity functions together every year, so keep an eye on this site for more news!
